A Hotel Apartment of 35 Fully Furnished Luxury rooms located in center of Salala, Sultanate of Oman is looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to join us.
As GM, you will be in charge of overseeing all areas of the business and ensuring that standards are maintained, staff is fully trained, all departments are running efficiently and budgets are adhered to.
Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
General Duties:
•    To ensure guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay
•    To assist the Employees when required during their busy schedules
•    To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally
•    To supervise, motivate, train and recruit the team to coordinate hotel departments
•    To participate in management meetings and hold regular team meetings with all staff members
•    To be able to do marketing and sales with decent Companies on Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ Yearly Basis.
Candidate:
An experienced Hotel General Manager with strong leadership and staff development skills. Someone interested in being part of a great team of employees and managers, committed to providing "First Class Customer Experiences" AND a work environment where all employees can thrive and grow.
Education & Experience:
•    Direct experience as a Hotel General Manager responsibility.
•    High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in business, hospitality, or related field strongly desired.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
•    Strong knowledge and skill in the areas of hotel sales, revenue management, rate strategy, and management of online booking channels.
•    Proven ability to build a cohesive and high-performing team though staff development, trusting relationships, and positive employee relations.
•    Strong work ethic with demonstrated positive approach to creating world-class customer experiences.
•    Ability to identify & solve problems; develop systems & processes that create win/win situations for all parties.
•    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
•    Bilingual ability in English/Arabic is not required but would be an asset in this role.
•    Proficient using hotel management programs on computer.
